What is a Venison?

Venison has a flavour similar to beef, but has a lot of deeper red colour. Venison is very healthy and is lower in calories, cholesterol and fat. Cuts are a Haunch of Venison, loin of Venison and Venison sausage are getting ever more popular.

Butchers Tip
Make sure the venison is well hung (Aged) for full flavour.

Cooking Tip
Venison has a tendency to become less tender very quickly if overcooked or cooked at too high a temperature.
