Burgers (Beef, Lamb, Pork etc)

Ahh, the humble burger. If there is one thing I would recommend to buy from a local butcher over the mass produced crap, its a burger and if you are up for it I would make your own. It takes minutes.

Butchers Tip
In my opinion don't make your burgers to lean especially beef as they tend to turn rubbery and tasteless.

Cooking Tip
The homemade burgers has to be one of the easiest things to make. Just nip into your local butcher and buy 1LB of mince and a small onion. You need to experiment with mince qualities to find your personal preference. There are generally two types of mince in a butcher shop, one is minced beef the other minced steak. Then just add salt & pepper.

Where does it come from?
Mince is generally just off cuts off the meat. There is nothing scary in there, as some people would have you believe at least not in any butcher shop I have worked at.
