What is Belly Pork?
Belly Pork is a very tasty meat but can be very fatty cut too. Also very inexpensive as meat goes. Generally put into Pork Sausage and the Pork Ribs removed and sold seperately.
Butchers Tip
Try it in a 6 inch piece, score it and rub salt in and enter into a hot oven. Lovely.
Cooking Tip
Get your butcher to cut it thin-ish and the crackling will harden up better.
Where does it come from?
Belly Pork comes from the pig, and is a off cut of the pork loin.
