What this site is about....

I am just a simple Butcher with 20 years under my belt who in my opinion has been taught by the best. I want to get the butchering community together and stop the continuing demise of the local Butcher. I also want to bring the local Butcher into the 21st century with the power of the internet. It won't be easy but I will try.

Supermarkets have taken the soul out of the British way of life. The local shop keeper is all but extinct except for a few brave souls who battle the constant attacks from Government agencies and their piles of red tape, mounting costs and the power of the supermarket.

Lamb Henry's
Lamb Henry's are fantastic. They are tasty, cheap and easy enough to cook. I sell hundreds of these in my shop and I am always been asked 'How do you cook them? and What are they? So here is a crash course from yours truly. I will go onto the cooking process shortly but what they are vary from Butcher to Butcher but mostly it is parts of a shoulder of Lamb coated in a mint sauce and left to marinate. What Supermarkets have done for us?
Don't get me wrong, I am not saying lets ban all supermarkets but there has to be moderation. In my town of a population of roughly 50,000 there is Asda, Morrisons, Lidos, Sainsbury's, Tesco's, Aldi and Netto. You tell me how are you suppose to compete with that!.
